Life Jackers - All Youth all need life jackets with a crotch strap fitted
Black Mats - Rubber mats need to be taken down and place on boat ramp by the water
New Youth - or less experienced youth should go into a double kayak with a adult or another youth
Wind - Check the wind on the basin and direction
Is it too windy ?
Paddling - Have you showed the youth the correct way to paddle
Safety Boats - Are you taking a saftey boat out ?
VHF Radios - Have you got the VHF radios and vests with adults or leaders
Radio Check - Do a radio check and agree on VHF channel
Regular Comms - Use regular radio communications through the night
Shore Radio - Leave one radio with a adult on shore
Secure - Lock the building as required. Leave an adult behind
