2019 Oct - Motuihe Island (Labour weekend) Camp

18 brave souls from Orakei Sea Scouts, made the voyage from Orakei Marina to sleep in tents over the long weekend on Motuihe Island over long weekend (Oct 2019)

Weather was great, and fun had by all.

Plus we meet Max a cub from Christchurch that made the trip over in a Kayak with his Dad. That joined in with us over the weekend.

So looks like the CHCH crew braver than us Auckland'ers making the way in a 2 man kayak.
